First of all students receive general knowledge of logistics, they study micro- and macroeconomics, supply chain management, issues of transportation insurance, international shipment policy, commerce, risk management, business administration.
Students are trained in written communication and dealing with computer software providing assistance in logistical planning. Students obtain knowledge of proper handling of various merchandise, different kinds of equipment and packaging used to store and ship goods, they learn how to upkeep warehouses. Other significant skills are scheduling, monitoring and estimating of the process.
